Celebrating summer: part two


If the Fan Meile is too much for you, you can also relax in one of Berlin's many Biergarten to take in the football match. 


These shots were taken during Saturday's match - Brasil vs. Chile. It was fun time, but I especially like the people-watching aspect of public viewing.

  2. World Cup viewing has attracted huge crowds here in the USA, which is odd for a nation without much of a soccer/football heritage. Now that the USA team lost today and are out of the tournament, I wonder if Americans' interest will continue for the rest of the World Cup games.

  9. As I'm sure you know, the world cup has been a big thing here! Although College St is a bit quieter since Italy and Spain lost!!

  10. I love the idea of a biergarten! I've been wanting to go to a pub to watch the matches, but then I'd be inside a dark room.
