Berlin Illustrated

JFK graces the cover of a special publication of the Berliner Illustrirte Zeitung following his visit in 1963. Pieces of history like this magazine cover are quite sought after these days...

Confidential to my Dad: Happy birthday!!!

  1. Yes, I agree with you.

People are willing to pay quite a lot for historical magazines.

    1. Sad that you have such a limited memory of a truly impressive and important person.

    2. Well I know women lose all their judgments concerning JFK ! A good looking guy doesn't make a good politician. This man was.physically sick and under drugs against his pain most of his life pushed by an over ambitioned father. The Kennedy clan was a more than special family. You may admire them that's your right. I'm not and I perfectly know why.

    3. I have to ask- what is your problem? You're coming across as an extremely negative, bitter person, in multiple comments.

    4. If to bring something into question shows that I'm for your a negative or bitter person, well it's up to you. I find it very strange that all over the blogland people always agree and everything is beautiful as in a wonderland. I have no problem and look at events in an other way than you. Easy to underdstand !

    5. What you are, whoever you bloody well are, is a toxic waste of bitter hostility. That's all you are. And you, just being yourself, is a life sentence.

  6. It's interesting to paw through those old magazines. Attitudes and advertisements were quite different from today.
