It's Friday!

This painting is from Luxemburgish artist Michel Majerus. Sadly he died in an airplane accident in 2002, but a few of his works are on display here in Berlin. This one caught my eye. I'm at least happy to say I'm not suffering from burn out... yet!

  1. Sorry, Hal, this does nothing for me. :) It's colorful, though, I'll say that!

  2. I completely agree with Lowell: I am more a Gemäldegalerie type...

  3. I tend to go for less modern art, myself.

  4. The painting does evoke thought, though. Too burned out to finish?

    Happy Friday!

  9. I love his art, full of imagination and he died much too young. You should visit the Michel Majures Estate in Knaackstraße 12. It's open one day a week , I do not exactly remember which day.

  11. It looks like he did get burned out and walked away. But it's still hung in a museum. Not bad for burn-out, eh? Too bad his life was cut short.
