a photo a day from germany's capital city
The windows are what draw my eye in this shot, Halcyon.
Well, the windows and the bars.
It's sad when you have to have bars on the fire station! I really like your pic, Hal!
The windows are what I focused on immediately, Hal!
Oh, come on! Smile and wave, then take the shot. And it's easier for a woman.More than one photography teacher has told me that it is easier to ask forgiveness than permission.
Privacy laws are taken very seriously here. I have had people approach me on the street, demanding to see my photos to make sure they weren't in them. I'd rather not have a bunch of burly Germans screaming at me, so I just avoid people when I can.
Wonderful brickwork and patina of a great cityALOHA ComfortSpiral =^..^=
Those beautiful benches and that windows! Lovely composition...
Nice peaceful place for them to sit and relax in between jobs!
Lovely !!!The windows are wonderful...
Nice to have a choice Hal, don't window boxes cheer everything up.
I bet those fire fighters were handsome too!
I love benches, great finder!
I would think the two benches would be the same but they're very different. So now I also wonder about the 3rd bench. Well, I know it was different 'cause it had firefighters on it that you were too chicken to photograph, but.... :))
I like the one on the right, but the other one may be more comfortable.
Two nice benches!
I like this, two nearly identical windows with quite different benches aligned in front.
I understand your hesitation to take photos of the firefighters. Both of us need to be braver, methinks. ;))
Were you just shy of photographing the firefighters or is that against courtesy and protocol?
Thanks for visiting my blog. I love hearing from you!
