On the Gendarmenmarkt

A look at the beautiful Konzert Haus on the Gendarmenmarkt in Mitte. It's always a nice place to walk around and I think the beautiful architecture lends itself well to black and white. Hope you agree!

PS: I have an Alsatian mural of sorts for you at Halcyon Travels.

  1. It does, I think, thanks to those windows, columns and paving stones.

  3. I remember going to a performance there YEARS ago - gorgeous inside, too. I was so proud of myself for buying tickets at the box office in my horrible German: Haben Sie zwei Plätze für heute Abend, bitte? Or something close enough to be understood. As soon as I finish the audiobook I've been listening to in the car (a new biography of Alexander von Humboldt, as it happens) I'm breaking out the German review lessons.

    1. You don't need German in Berlin, everyone here speaks English. Even if you WANT to speak German, it's not always possible. :)
