Perhaps this is a self-portrait of the artist who painted this mural? He at least appears to be friendly with his big smile.
Here's a better look at the wall, it's really quite a large area! This one is on the side of a building near an S-Bahn station in Schoneberg. More murals can be found at Mural Monday.
PS: I'm posting more regularly on Halcyon Travels. Please stop by and take a look.
cool dude with BIG feet
ReplyDeleteVery cool! :)
ReplyDeleteCool murals!
ReplyDeleteVery nice mural and I like the way it stops against the yellow wall behind and above.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful happy mural. Including the two people gives us a perspective of how large the mural really is.
ReplyDeletehe kind of reminds me of vanilla ice :)
ReplyDeleteI think you're right about the artist ... it's a fun mural and sure is too bad the taggers got it!
ReplyDeleteLove it when murals wrap around. Seems like you are having a great adventure in Berlin!

I think that might be what you call "grinning from ear to ear".
ReplyDeleteA nice one!
ReplyDeleteA rather cartoonish sensibility to it.
ReplyDeleteIt's much larger than I initially realized. I'm seeing lots of letters throughout the composition. Hints at who did it? Sorry for the Linky glitch. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteI like it a lot!
ReplyDeleteAn interesting assortment of images. I suspect the grinner is a self portrait, too.
ReplyDeleteI also think you're right about the artist, nice mural.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun, and I like the image where you include some people so we can see how big this is.
ReplyDeleteIt looks a lot more friendly than what we see here, particularly on the long sections of the Mississippi River floodwall here where graffiti is permitted. Perhaps Berlin is more comfortable wit itself.
ReplyDeleteWe leave for Amsterdam five weeks from Monday, then over your way. Can't wait.
Gosh it's a juge piece Hal. Good to see the perspective with the ladies walking around the corner :) I agree with Bob, a colourful, cheerful work.
ReplyDeleteIt is what I liked by visiting Berlin, a city if vibrating and artistic living being! your photo is very successful!!
ReplyDeleteVery happy murals.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and I have updated with a new photo of the bull :)
ReplyDeleteI like your mural - colorful and extensive
