This mural showing the red bear from the Berlin city flag, was on the other side of the building where I found last week's mural. I do love that Berlin bear! It's Monday again and you'll find more murals here.
hehe, my husband loves Berlin bear, on our recent trip to Berlin, he shot a bear whenever he saw one. so, this little house is painted from all sides. great!
At first I thought only the shield and the bear were the mural. That is until I clicked on the photo to view at full size. The artist has done a wonderful job with the entire structure... and yes, the bear is impressive.
Hi Hal. I wanted to respond to your comment on my blog post with the shopping carts. The woman is Lois Anne. She grabbed a cart and headed for the door while I saw the chance for a cool photo and stayed back to I could get the shot. I thought it worked out OK. :)
Do you know California's icon is also a bear? Hope you find something special to do on July 4th - from experience, it's hard sometimes living in another country on a national holiday. happy week to you!

ReplyDeleteThe Berlin bear is cute! From this angle, the structure looks similar to a Torii gate! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the way this is painted to look like a stone building.

ReplyDeleteThe bear looks very cute. This is lovely mural.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that they went to the trouble of painting a rock wall to "hang" the bear shield. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
