Blue skies shine above the French Cathedral on the Gendarmenmarkt Square. Unfortunately, today's skies are not so blue, but rather gray and rainy. Hope the summer weather returns soon. If you're looking for more signs, you'll find them here!
Oh, yes, I remember her this cathedral and this square. We didn't go in the French Cathedral, but we did go in the German Cathedral on the corner, where there were murals about Martin Luther.
That sky ids a beautiful background for that building! It's a bit grey here too!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the connection with France and this cathedral.

ReplyDelete...such a stately building!
ReplyDeleteGreat architecture!
ReplyDeleteIt's looked like threatening skies here all day, but thus far nothing. Just as well- we had a whole lot of rain two days ago.
Nice blue skies (we have some thunder at the moment!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for this - quite a confusing (but interesting) history with this building!
Impressive facade.
ReplyDeleteFRANKLY MY DEAR
Building is beautiful set against that beautiful sky ...I hope it returns for you soon....it's hard not to feel cheated somehow on dreary summer days!
ReplyDeleteThis is certainly a different style of cathedral!
