Nothing is more American to me than a Ford! I'm not sure what model this is, but I'm sure someone will let me know in the comments. Hope you are enjoying these "oldtimers". Don't forget to take a look at
Halcyon Travels for a look at a
Le Mans race car.
wide and shiny! :)
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is, it has real character.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a 1967 Ford Galaxie. They were great cars but I wouldn't want to be paying to keep them in gas these days!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed by your car knowledge!
DeleteVery nice! :)
ReplyDeleteAucune idée, mais sympa !
ReplyDeleteNice car but I love german cars.
ReplyDeleteYou have created a great angle there!
ReplyDeleteYes a very nice shot of an american oldie. Like the way it shows by using the wide angle.
ReplyDeleteBIG and I suspect a gas guzzler. :)
ReplyDeletean old classic...i don't know what though and my husband works for ford haha
ReplyDeleteYes! This is another car I would really enjoy!
ReplyDeleteA beauty.
ReplyDeletea real beauty, as are most vintage American cars! even though cars nowadays are better gas-wise, I think none can compare with the uniquely loveliness of cars from 1930s thru the 1950s.
ReplyDeleteIn Brazil it was also named Galaxy
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does shine! I, too, would suspect that it is a Galaxie.
ReplyDelete~Lindy
It is called an "old black Ford." Glad I could help you.
