Book box and bass


I found another book box when I was out and about recently. How serendipitous that this man with a double bass just happened to walk through my shot! It's Wednesday and you'll find more signs at Signs, Signs.

    Looks like an old telephone boot. A book box made with german precision and sturdiness as a lot of german products. Nice.

    I love the book box. I see it has a solar panel on top so there might be a light inside.

      I didn't even notice that! Where are my eyes? I didn't look at the box closely, but if I'm back over there I will have to check that out.

    There are quite a few of these Book Boxes around Berlin, including one just a few meters from my home.

    It's not unusual to see thee take-a-book, leave a book cabinets or kiosks around here, but none that can fit a serious musical instrument.
