This may not be the right weather for it, but I can imagine those two benches tucked away under the trees as a nice place to sit and contemplate during the warmer months. I found this beautiful snowy scene in the old Jewish cemetery in Mitte.
I remember that there are some pretty nice buildings around the cemetery. It's been awhile since I've been to Grosse Hamburger Str./Sophienstr, probably almost 10 years...
I know, I know, sorry, sorry but I had no time, I ran around like a headless chicken...
A fine play of warm light and darkness.
ReplyDeleteYou are right - it looks like a lovely spot!
ReplyDeleteFantastic photo...I love the colours, scene and light.
ReplyDeleteIn any weather those benches would offer a lovely place to rest. It's a gentle snowy scene rather than one deep in snow.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very tranquil, even in winter.
ReplyDeleteEven with the associated feelings of sadness and loss, I like cemeteries. They're peaceful and often a relief from the frenetic city life.

ReplyDeletei'm with you, beautiful spot!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely scene and might be a good place to sit even now on a sunny, non-windy day!
ReplyDeleteThey got a natural canopy...
ReplyDeletePristine pathway. Were you the first to make footprints in the snow?
