You're welcome!

I'm not sure if this cafe wants to be welcoming or wants to thank its customers... or both! In any case, I like the name. I also love those three arched windows and the contrast of the yellow building and the green shutters. I actually took this photo back in January, but failed to showcase it, so please forgive the snow. I promise it's not around anymore. For more signs, take a look at Signs, Signs.

  1. The green shutters really stand out nicely! I'd go inside.

I still have pics with snow to come too! Of course, in my mind, that's a wonderful thing.

  3. I think the message means one thing if you are going in and another when you are leaving. Either way, it is a clever name!

  4. The name is clever, that mustard yellow is appealing and the big windows give it a nice light feeling. I would give this place a try if I were in Berlin.

  6. It does indeed look very welcoming. :-)
This reminds «Louis» of Thanksgiving restaurant in the Marais in Paris. It was founded by American ex-pats and, as the name implies, serves Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving day, though it is open year-'round. Reservations must be made 1 year in advance for Thanksgiving day meals!

  7. C'est sympa ! La neige ne me dérange pas du tout, bien au contraire !

  8. Halcyon you are also welcome. I'm not a fan of B&W so I like it when I see bright colours like this in photographs.

  12. It's a beautiful facade. But why is the name in English and not in German? It also appears that they believe their food is so good you will thank them when leaving and they want to make sure to say "You're Welcome!" in return. Or something like that. :)
