I love the bright red garage doors on this firehouse, but the cyclist crossing my path really makes the shot. Hope you are having a great weekend so far!
It is a great shot. Thanks so much for meeting us in Berlin we had a great time with you and your husband. Berlin is a great city and I can see going back to see more of it.
I agree. I used to wait for people to exit a scene I plan to photograph, but these days (in maybe 90 percent of shots) I often wait for a pedestrian or biker to reach the point in the scene that I want them to be.
nice red doors!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot, and very nice red doors! Have a great weekend Hal!
ReplyDeleteThe red is indeed very fierce and nice and the biker gives scale to the total. I am wondering why there is no glass in the doors.
ReplyDeleteYes fab colours and the cyclist as you say makes it work but I also like the small group on the left, lovely picture..
ReplyDeleteYes... a building by it's self can be boring. Include people in the scene and it changes everything!
ReplyDeleteSo long as they're not relying on the guy on the bike to put out the fire. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the bright red doors, too!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does result in an appealing shot!
ReplyDeleteSerendipity and it does make the shot. In the U.S. these days, red doors usually indicate 1) an Episcopal church, or 2) a fire station!

ReplyDeleteI agree! That was perfect timing!
ReplyDeleteYou are right - the cyclist makes the shot special!
ReplyDeleteFive doors! It must be a very dry neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteYou were in the right place at the right time. Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteAn impressive buildings, love the red doors!
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture for sure!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those red doors! A great find, Hal!
