Another Ampelmann

Here's another Ampelmann Cafe near the Monbijou Park. I find the big hat so funny and cute, I couldn't resist getting a shot of him. And don't worry, it's not actually cold here in Berlin anymore. The photos I've been showing this week are from the end of January. For more signs, take a look at Signs, Signs.

  6. Green, green, the man is green. Greener than any man I've ever seen.

Looks like a nice cafe, but is that a road that goes over the top of it? Could put a froth on my beer!

    1. It's an S-Bahn track. I suppose it could get loud inside. But I've only ever seen people sitting outside here.

  8. So does that mean the snow is gone? You probably know that most everywhere it's COLD here in the US...
Used to know what Ampel means ... has to do with traffic, but I draw a blank right now for the right translation, lol!

  10. That looks like a station in Sydney. It gives me an idea for a photo.

  11. So they still keep tables, chairs and umbrellas outside in spite of the snow. That surprises me. And adore the little green man.
