If you look up inside the Neue Wache, you just might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of sky like this one. It's Friday again - do you have any big plans for the weekend? Sunday marks the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall so I will definitely be downtown for the celebrations. Otherwise I'll just be working on my golf game. Don't forget to look at Skywatch for more skies from around the world.
This is every prisoner's dream... a hole in the ceiling. :)
ReplyDeleteLike it, have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIs it that long, here let me remind you what it looked like http://spudsdailyphoto.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/the-wall.html

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your pics from Sunday! Too cold for golf here this weekend.
ReplyDeleteMarleen's comment is what I thought of. It reminded me of the occulus in the Pantheon.
ReplyDeleteI think I have a photo like this one of the Neue Wache somewhere...
ReplyDeleteLovely capture.
ReplyDeleteWow, 25 years already! A whole generation has grown up... time flies!
ReplyDeleteBlue sky! I especially love the sculpture by Kaethe Kollwitz in the "Neue Wache". I wish I could be in Berlin over the weekend. When the wall came down we just had moved from Berlin to Munich.I missed it by a week. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteIf you posted this this I'll accept it's Berlin but it reminds me of the Roman Pantheon.
