Blue skies over the Spree

Blue skies abound over the Spree. I do hope the construction in this area will be over one of these days. It's Friday again. Do you have any big plans for the weekend? We have an out-of-town visitor coming in, so our guest room will be taking its maiden voyage. And of course, I have my interview this afternoon. I'm feeling quite nervous about it, but I'm pretty sure I can convince them I'm right for the job!

For more skies, take a look at Skywatch. And there's more from Vienna on my travel blog.

  1. Oh, I hope your interview went well; hope you hit it out of the park. The scene above is one I would love to see myself.

  6. Construction never ends! That's one of the rules of modern life! Best wishes on your interview. You've already convinced me you're the right person for the job and I don't even know what it is!

  7. I agree with Lowell...I'm convinced you're the right new employee, too. I hope your new prospective employer is smart enough to recognize this.
Also, re: your sorbet recipe request. I'm emailing a link to you. Do look for it just in case I've gotten caught in a spam filter.

  14. Thanks everyone for your positive thoughts and good wishes. You really don't know how much it means to me. I love this group of "friends" I've made through blogging. Your coimments really lift me up!
I think the interview went well, I certainly had a very positive feeling about it. I don't have any regrets or feel that any of my answers were bad. So the next part is out of my hands. I gave it my best, and that's all you can do.

  17. Great that you feel it went well. Nothing worse that coming out smacking your forehead, thinking of better responses ten minutes too late.

    Where is the construction?

    1. This is construction on the new City Schloss just near the Berliner Dom. I'm pretty sure it will never be finished. ;)

    2. Don't worry , it will be finished ! By the way Berlin is in permanent movement, that's what all the people who come here are looking for. Go to Paris and you will see , even if the town is beautiful ( well no destruction during the war) it's quite boring, nothing really new happens, which is for sure not the case here in Berlin.
