I recently showed you a really large scale ROA work that I found in Vienna, and now here's one in Berlin. The title of this piece is Nature Morte - a play on words with the French term for still life. An interesting piece, but I still wonder how artists access these buildings, it would be so interesting to see how it's done.
Hope you had a nice weekend and your Monday is off to a good start. There are more murals waiting to be seen at Monday Mural. I also have a bonus mural for you at Halcyon Travels.
They do look quite spectacular!
ReplyDeleteThe untouched wall would be much better than this...
ReplyDeleteNeat one! We also have a ROA mural in town. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteIt was no small feat to paint this mural!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but I find this horrible and ugly. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I feel about it.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I had a bad dream about falling last night so this looks kinda eerie to me.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is really neat.
ReplyDeletewell done but definitely gave me the heebie jeebies!
ReplyDeleteA bit unsettling. "Look away... I'm hideous." C.Kramer
ReplyDeleteHi Hal! Re your comment on Ocala: You have friends who are opticians? I can totally see that!
ReplyDeleteA bit grim one but excellent executed.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to see this every day from my living-room but otherwise it is cool!
ReplyDeleteHis work is wonderful but that one is a bit dark in mood for me.
ReplyDeleteOoops... quite impressive !
ReplyDeleteOh this one is in Revalerstrasse and I like it a lot , even if many persons find his paintings scary.
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks to be in 3D!
ReplyDeleteRather stark!
ReplyDeleteHis stuff is always so commanding and not just because of their size. So far no ROAs here in Oakland. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteI've often wondered as well, nice angle with that blue sky...
ReplyDeleteOn the one hand, gruesome, but if you think about it you can almost hear Der Freischütz playing in the background.
