I found this stripey snake on Saarbrücker Straße in Mitte. It's not the nicest piece of wall art I've ever seen, but something about the childlike style appeals to me. I have a feeling this barrier has been put up because the building has been acquired by new owners. It probably won't be long until renovations begin and more apartments go up. I wonder if anyone will miss this little snake then?
Hope you had a great weekend! It's Monday again and I'm linking this post with Monday Mural.
He is kind of a cute little fellow, even if he is a snake!
ReplyDeleteI find this cute, and agree with the childlike quality of it being appealing!
ReplyDeleteIt doth remind me a bit of a Dr. Seuss character. But I doubt it will be missed if it disappears in a renovation. One problem is that the whole wall is so covered with graffiti that the poor snake doesn't stand out as emphatically as it should.
ReplyDeleteSo, did you have a good weekend, defined of course, as having played golf?
How could one miss a snake?
ReplyDeleteHe is an odd beastie, isn't he? Still really cold here.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to miss it. It would be good to see this area cleaned up.
ReplyDeleteThe snake's odd looking, but marred by all that other tagging.
ReplyDeleteI'm rather glad that it's head looks too big to get through those bars! He looks rather menacing, in a child-like way.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the snake but I don't like all the rest of that graffito.
ReplyDeleteI like the colours and I don't think it will be missed.
ReplyDeleteAt least you have captured the image of the snake for all time!
ReplyDeleteMysterious...
ReplyDeleteaw, poor stripey snake!
ReplyDeleteThe gate might be a way to keep folks out so that there are no injuries; those steps don't look too safe. Nor does the snake look particularly inviting!
ReplyDeletegreat you have captured it before it goes for ever
ReplyDeleteI do not think so: it is really ugly!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure no one will miss him, cute as he is. At least you captured him before he disappeared.
ReplyDeleteWhile he is there people can enjoy him, no doubt the landownder will have it removed at some time
