If you take a stroll through the Akademie der Künste on Pariser Platz here in Berlin, you might notice this wonderful wall. Although it's technically outside the gift shop, it shows the different posters that are available for purchase. I thought it was quite a fun way to display all the different works and definitely added color to the otherwise very white and sterile walls. For more murals, head to Monday Mural.
Some very colourful work up there. For some reason my eyes first fell upon the Guy Fawkes mask.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! Thanks so much for sharing this. In reference to your comment on my yesterday's blog post, you are right. The Just for Laughs gags are indeed universal, understood by everyone regardless of the language they speak, because there is no talking that we can hear, just good clean fun and facial expressions. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this, I like the way how they display all posters.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Did you buy some?

ReplyDeleteIt is indeed colorful and visually engaging. Smart idea. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteSome really cool posters shown there.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I like that. I have several framed posters in my Florida house. Down here the ceilings are high, so we need large vertically oriented artwork. (Mine are typically from ~ 1920.)
