If you're looking for a second-hand wedding dress, why not take a look in Wedding? I couldn't resist snapping this shot when I was walking through that area of town recently. The sign, however, appears to be out of date. I am pretty sure this is not the Bar Einrichtungen (Facilities Bar, whatever that means!). For more signs, head to Signs, Signs.

too funny. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't the slightest idea what Facilities Bar could mean!
ReplyDeleteNice wedding dresses. Looks like an ineresting kind of store. Yeah, the name may be a little outdated. Great find!
ReplyDeleteSomething changed...from bar to wedding dresses in Wedding. That could get a little confusing. This looks a bit like a thrift or 2nd-hand store. Can first-time brides wear a 2nd-hand dress? Just wondering... :)
ReplyDeleteWeddings are SO expensive and it is great that "slightly used" dresses are available. Can't help but wonder, tho, what the reason for the dress being available.
ReplyDeleteThese dresses looked a little too out of date for a modern bride to me. But maybe someone would like them to use as a costume or to create something new.
DeletePerfect for a second marriage.
ReplyDeleteFacilities bar? I have no idea what this means, either. Nice photo.
ReplyDeleteI like the old sixties or seventies lettering!
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's a 'pop up' shop?!
ReplyDeleteFunny. I like it.
ReplyDeleteBuy a wedding dress and baby buggy at the same time
ReplyDeleteLots to look at and buy here, but I don't need anything, thank you. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd like a good hunt around in there!
ReplyDeleteI would love to peruse the inside of this establishment!!!
ReplyDeleteFunny and well caught!
ReplyDeleteLove the whole post. It is followed up with some really cute comments :).
ReplyDeleteIf I was on Facebook I would 'like' your page Hal, (but alas I'm not)
ReplyDeleteI agree, the dress would be a great costume!
Bar Einrichtungen means that this was once a shop for furnishing staff (Einrichtung) for bars and restaurants. Many old shops unfortunately disappeared.
ReplyDeleteDo you still have to be a virgin to wear white? :)
ReplyDeletei like those chairs out front!
ReplyDeleteLooks like they sell everything!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the bar went out of business and a thrift shop opened. Interesting contrast between sign and current use.
ReplyDeletesuper! I'd probably have to walk into this store. I love recycling or reusing, whichever re- word that fits this shop.
ReplyDeleteteriffic
ReplyDeleteI am not currently in the market for a used wedding dress, but if my plans change, I will be sure to let you know.
ReplyDeleteah that is a gorgeous looking display
