I looked up this building on Google but I don't remember it. Has it been that long since I've been in Berlin? Maybe. Perhaps we just didn't see it. I like the open concept.
By the way, my son and his wife will be in Berlin just two nights, 27 and 28 June. If there is anything special going on, let me know. I don't know where they are staying. He's been there once with me and my wife, the last time we visited your city. He got around fine on his own. He doesn't speak German but his French is very good. He got by between that and English.
Wonderful image and perfect caption! I'm not posting today, so no need to check my blog. I'm playing catch up on comments since I've been way too busy this week.
a great image in b&w!
ReplyDeleteImpressive angle!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a view. Nicely rendered in black and white.
ReplyDeleteI really like this in B&W.
ReplyDeleteThat little statue looks absolutely lost!

The statue looks lonely. Great photo!
ReplyDeleteThis statue is called " Die Philosophin" and was created by Markus Lüperts.

ReplyDeleteNice B&W composition. Quite a contrast to the previous photo.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many times this little fella sees the chancellor...
ReplyDeleteLove the way you've composed this B&W Halcyon, that's quite an impressive vista this lonely wee chap is looking out on.
ReplyDeleteI love the feeling of freedom I feel when I look out over all this space in B&W.
ReplyDeleteNice feeling of space; great range of tones.
