I found these old crosses in the Old Garrison Cemetery of Berlin. It was very quiet there and I enjoyed strolling around taking in all the old soldiers graves. For more relics, take a look at Rubbish Tuesday.
These markers are really beautiful. I enjoy walking through graveyards looking at all the names adn dates, but I always feel sad when I find an old grave with a small child or infant. Thanks for linking up!
You composed this photo so well. And it's easy to see why you would enjoy walking amongst the graves in the warmth of the sunshine.
I heard of another woman who passed this way. She had a different take on the place. "All these tombstones will be the death of me," she said gravely." :)

ReplyDeleteThe information from the sign says it was founded in 1706. So more than 300 years old.
