There are "commemorative" sections of wall up all around town - this particular piece is near Potsdamer Platz. Most of these pieces are painted by well-known artists, as you can see this one was done by French artist Thierry Noir. You can see more of his work at the East Side Gallery where a whole stretch of wall remains intact. And you can see more murals at Monday Mural.
I don't remember seeing that one.
ReplyDeleteUnusual art, but colourful.
ReplyDeleteunique painting of a serious piece of wall. :)

ReplyDeleteWhy this is thought to commemorate the wall is beyond me . . .
ReplyDeleteI have never seen anything like this! Cool!
ReplyDeleteVery eye catching!
ReplyDeleteA nice kind of simple one, but very clever.
ReplyDeleteI saw some of the remains of the wall in Berlin, this one is very cool.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. What big lips you have!
ReplyDeleteReally eye catching.
ReplyDeleteNice !
Ironic image here.
ReplyDeleteI like it! There is a section of the wall in the "Newseum" in Washington D.C. and I remember how moving it was to me to stand on both sides and observe the differences.
ReplyDeleteNice to see there are bits still around even though it brings back bad memories for some. Nice way to brighten it up
