This fountain is on the plaza where the Wine Festival takes place. It has been under renovation for so long, that I was surprised to see it open and full of water the last time I was there. Apparently the statue lost its head (either through vandalism or old age, I'm not sure), but he's now looking fit and I'm sure he enjoys his own reflection in the water. ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely fountain. Personally I've found that lost heads are often due to old age. Well, it is in my case.
