These benches on Leopoldplatz are a good place for some people watching in Wedding. There's a weekly market here on the square and when it gets warmer there is also a nice fountain for the kids to play in. I enjoyed my cappuccino from le garçon here a few weeks ago.
PS: I've also got a Viennese sign for you over on my travel blog. You can see it here.

ReplyDeleteThe church stands out beautifully.
ReplyDeleteLovely church....and that sky!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks a little chilly now but I can imagine it's perfect during the summer months!
ReplyDeleteI like the choice of stone or wood. I think I will sit on the wood section.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an ideal place to sit and watch!
ReplyDeleteI'm fond of the three arched doors. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see some people in jackets and others in shirt sleeves!
ReplyDeleteThe guy in the t-shirt is probably Canadian.
Deletei love to sit and people watch!
ReplyDeleteWedding is a good area for it. You ever know what you'll see.
DeleteI like it a lot. But what an interesting collection of clothing...some people are in tee shirts and others look all bundled up in coats!
ReplyDeleteMade a foray into Wedding last time I was in Berlin...
ReplyDeleteRe. your comment on VDP: Really? There are 1100 museums participating of which a lot (700) are in France. Still that leaves a few elsewhere in Europe, for example here in the UK: http://www.theguardian.com/travel/2015/may/12/museums-night-uk-activities
Also here (from the link I provided) in the rest of Europe: http://nuitdesmusees.culturecommunication.gouv.fr/La-Nuit-en-Europe
I love looking at the people, some in coats and scarfs and others in T-shirts. I'd be the one in the coat and scarf.
ReplyDeleteCushions would be an added attraction for me. hahahaha
ReplyDeleteAnd a massive bench is available...
