It's been quite a while since I've featured a golf course photo here. I must admit, golf in Europe is exhausting - the courses are long, you have to walk (even with the pushcart, it's hard) and a round usually takes well over four hours. When I walk, I can't have the extra weight of a camera with me and there is usually not time for photos anyway. Luckily for you, I had my phone with me last weekend and got this water shot. Hope you enjoy the reflection - it was not a warm day, but good enough.
PS: Don't ask about my score. My game has still not adapted to "European" conditions. You can also see more of wonderful Vienna on my travel blog.
Nice pond in a beautiful landscape with a great light !
ReplyDeleteThought that was the idea of golf, it gives exercise.
ReplyDeleteWell its eye candy for the tense brain of the player. And I agree with Bill.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful landscape with lovely reflections.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't have the energy to walk around a golf course you need to hit the gym! And buy a bike. Great colors here.
ReplyDeleteI do go to the gym and ride my bike. Golf is just so exhausting. :(
DeleteHope your ball didn't end up on the water. :-)
ReplyDeleteNo water on this day! :)
Deletea pretty scene. :)
ReplyDeleteThe muted shades of yellow and green are lovely in this photo.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty landscape. I love long walks but, I take them without the golf part. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty golf course!
ReplyDeleteA lovely pond, Hal. I still agree with Mark Twain: golf is a good walk wasted!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice, peaceful course to play!
ReplyDeleteLooks quite beautiful, Hal!
ReplyDeleteI'd play there any day. Of course, with all that water, I'd bring extra balls. Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteLovely colours, it looks like a painting!
ReplyDeleteFrom what I have seen here golf courses are huge. I never played though.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a lovely area!
Beautiful... But wow that sounds like an exhausting game over there. I'd be ready for that 19th hole for sure. Or actually for bed.
ReplyDeleteThat looks stunning, I love the colours, hope you had a good round...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, I love this!
ReplyDeleteI tell people that -- given my lousy golf game -- the best reasons to play golf are to be outside for four hours, in a pretty environment with three other people you choose to spend the time with. This sure qualifies as a pretty environment. The water looks far enough away from the fairway to stay out of trouble, but that rough looks like it is high enough to bury an errant shot (my specialty).
ReplyDeleteLovely golden scenery.
