I recently went to see the latest exhibit at the Martin Gropius Bau, The Century Mark. Tel Aviv Museum of Art visits Berlin. Unfortunately photography wasn't allowed inside the exhibit, but I did get this quick shot of the cupola. I hope you enjoy and if you're in Berlin, the show is definitely worth seeing. It's a very thought-provoking retrospective.
The cupola looks great, nice shot !
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference with his grandson Walter Gropius , the director of the Bauhaus. Perhaps 40 years in age but lightyears in design.
ReplyDeleteWell Walter was Martin Gropius great nephew and not grandson .Martin Gropius died 1880 and Walter was born in 1883.
DeleteNeat shot of the cupola, Hal. Sorry you were not allowed to take photos pf the exhibit as I won't be in Berlin to see it.
