A painted hut

I found this cute painted mini-building near a school in Karlshorst. Luckily this work was signed by the artist - Lars Orschatz - he is a professional muralist and you can see more of his works here.

Here's a closer look at the scene on the other side of the building. That little hedgehog badger certainly is cute! It's Monday again and you'll find more murals at Mural Monday.

  2. That is very nice. Idyllic. Great colors. A few years ago we found a dead hedgehog under our back deck at our house in east Ocala. I'd never seen a hedgehog before - dead or alive.

  6. That looks more like a badger to me, I don't think it's a hedgehog! Looooooooove this! It's like stepping into 'the wind in the willows'.

  11. Hi Hal! Re your comment about the Ocala National Golf Club being on the tour: Well, yes. It used to be known as Golden Hills, and it was a regular tour stop for the Hooters Tour. Another small tour stopped their last year. Across the road there is a community known as Golden Ocala, with fine, expensive homes and a gorgeous golf course which used to be open to the public but no more. Darn! It features several holes which replicate some of the famous golf holes around the world. And it so happens that it will host the first tournament of the LPGA next year! We're planning on going.

  12. Oops. Pardon the spelling error: should be "there" not "their." I need to proofread my stuff!
