I wish a photo could really show the sparkle that was on this tree. It was really nice, especially against the backdrop of another gray day (although I can't complain too much, at least it's not cold). This festive tree comes to you from a small Weihnachtsmarkt on Wilmersdorfer Straße. It's not one of the nicest markets around town, but you can at least stop at the cute huts for a little fortification in between all your shopping stops.
i like the strip that doesn't appear to have lights on it. :)
ReplyDeleteYou could have taken two photos and stitched them together. And since the tree will be there for a while you do have the time to try again and replace it!
ReplyDeleteNice tree but not a normal one i gues.
ReplyDeletepretty and that is a beautiful lamp post!
ReplyDeleteTree lights and street lights - can't complain about the dark! Actually, the tree is kinda sparkly. And I'd be happy with one of your lesser Xmas markets if we could move it to Ocala!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind checking out the fortification. :-)
ReplyDeleteNice tree ! Looks good even if the sky is so grey ...hope you had some mood improving mulled wine!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely tree! It has been quite grey here too but it is +4˚C so pretty warm.
ReplyDeleteThe tree has a beautiful shape and the lamp post certainly complements it!
ReplyDeleteNice tree and the lamp post makes it look prettier.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe tree is quite pretty, but that lamp post is just exquisite.
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
Tip: go back and shoot it a twilight. Best time of day for photographing Christmas decorations.
ReplyDeleteLots or sparkly trees around at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very festive scene, even without snow!
ReplyDeleteA lovely scene and a beautiful 'tree'!
ReplyDeleteSometimes the camera 'hides' what's really in front of it.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the lights twinkling in the evening. It's the perfect meeting point.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's a Back.... just behind it. 'Nen Glühwein oder 'ne Feuerzangenbowle vom Markt und ein Quarkbrötchen vom Bäker für mich bitte!
ReplyDeleteUnd ein c noch für den Bäcker!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice contrast between the ornate lamps and the simple conical tree.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scene! The tree appears to be paved with lights.
