I went out to the Grunewald over the weekend. Parts of the smaller ponds and lakes were frozen over, so there were lots of people out enjoying the bit of sun and blue sky we had. There were also plenty of dogs! But most of them were quite friendly and excited to meet new friends.
It's finally Friday! Learning German really wears me out, so I am ready for a short break. My weekend looks pretty free right now. What about you, do you have any big plans?
White on white, with a bench!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. The dogs look happy.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the German lessons. My granddaughter is studying in Germany for a year. A challenge, being English, and having all her classes in German.
This is a lovely scenery. We still have some snow too, however temperatures are rising so I guess it will be gone soon.. Good luck with your german lessons!
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if you are back here! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove this capture! Is it HDR? Oh, I know about German lessons - I did a Berlitz course, and in a way I was glad after a few times that my nausea in the first 5 months of pregnancy prevented me from going - that's how much I liked them, lol! I have the idea that a language reflects the culture. And many Germans are "Du muss und du sollst!" Hope you catch on to the language quickly - the fastest way is to dive in and keep speaking German wherever you go and not care of the mistakes you make:):)
ReplyDeleteJ'adore l'atmosphère de cette photo. Ruhe Dich gut aus! :-)
ReplyDeletewhat dog?!! how many languages do you speak? i think my grandma learned german in high school but it's not offered much anymore...spanish seems to have taken over! we still have french class though!
ReplyDeleteFantastic capture. Love the colours here and the dog looks preoccupied with something...perhaps Spring? :)
ReplyDeleteWe've got Winterlude here... so sufficed to say I'll be busy with the camera.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image!
"Learning German?" I thought you lived in Germany before and were already fluent. You are a woman of many mysteries, Hal.
ReplyDeleteThis is a pleasant scene in the woods. Not enough snow to interfere with a pleasant walk.
Only the collar gives it away!
ReplyDeleteOops, I missed this one. Looks like a beautiful spot. At first I thought that dog might be a white wolf. Woof!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous image Hal! But you know what a sucker I am for the white stuff! (Love the dog)
ReplyDeleteWell, you could "write" the occasional post in German - would that help?! :)
