We got our first snow of the season last week here in Berlin. I captured some of the first flakes on Alexander Platz for you. I think the scene looks even better in black and white, and I hope you'll agree!
J'adore l'angle de prise de vue et le fait de voir mon copain le Telespargel sous la neige de bon matin un lundi gris après un dimanche gris et un samedi gris me fait plaisir !
I don't know how it looks in color but so far as sharing the cold, grey of a Berlin winter, I don't think you could do better than the black & white. And I love the composition!
Today is Commemoration Day for the Holocaust victims. So why not posting the Berlin Memorial instead of the TV Tower the symbol of the DDR regime?May be you are not aware of this commemoration ?
This is awesome in black and white. It almost looks like you were using a fish eye lens. I really do like it. genie
ReplyDeleteI think it has been snowing here since you left. How lucky that it is just starting now over there! Cool pic.
ReplyDeleteIt looks brilliant in black and white!

ReplyDeleteIt genuinely looks cold. Black and white certainly works well :).
ReplyDeleteBrrrrr, great snowy panorama... and yes, b&w captures it best!
ReplyDeleteI concur as well - B&W looks a treat Hal. I always knew Berlin was a 'cool' city! :)
